GIE Ltd. started the implementation of a new project having as Beneficiary the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development

GIE Ltd. started the implementation of a new PHARE project “Technical Assistance for the Romanian Companies to comply with the EU requirements included in REACH Regulation”, having as Beneficiary the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.

The overall objective of the project is to develop/support the Romanian companies to be competitive on EU market.
The specific objectives of this project are as follows: to support the compliance of Romanian companies to REACH requirements; to develop/ strengthen the institutional capacity of Romanian authorities to implement REACH Regulation; information and awareness campaign at the level of Romanian companies about the implementation of REACH Regulation.

Type of services provided

• The impact assessment of the implementation of REACH Regulation on Romanian companies; The elaboration of the relevant methodology and tools used to prepare the study; Selection of the Romanian companies; Elaboration of the impact study; Dissemination of the information of the impact study;


• Revision, updating and amending the relevant guidelines; Elaboration of the Training programme based on a Training Needs Assessment; Train of Trainers session; implementation of different training sessions for authorities and companies; Assessment and improvement of the existing national assistance office within NEPA, testing the national Help-desk operation; updating NEPA web page;


• Awareness campaign; Information strategy and action plan; The implementation of the campaign; The evaluation of the campaign.
