GIE Ltd. hires category I Civil Engineers

GIE Ltd. hires category I Civil Engineers within a framework contract regarding Technical Assistance to review the designs and preparing the Tender Documents for construction of local and secondary roads in Albania.

The global objective is to improve access to essential services and economic markets for the resident population in the hinterland, through the reconstruction/rehabilitation of priority sections of the secondary (regional) and local roads across Albania. The specific objective is to assist the EC Delegation reviewing the quality of detail designs for reconstruction of four regional roads prepared by the Albanian Development Fund and preparing the tender documents for the works contracts and supervision.

Position description: responsible for the quality checking of technical specifications, drawings and bill of quantities.

Requirements:

- must be graduated civil engineering;
- have more than 15 years of working experience in construction of works out of which not less than 10 years in the construction/rehabilitation of the roads;
- have in the least 3 years at least 2 experiences in the design of roads.

This project will be implemented within the timeframe 5 March 2009 – 30 April 2009.
