MEASURING, STORAGE, TRANSMISSION AND DISSEMINATION OF HYDROLOGICAL
DATA TO VARIOUS DECISION LEVELS (MOSYM)
The main tasks of the project will be:

Design and production of a local prototype of an automatic station
permitting the storage of data on hydrological parameters (qualitative
and quantitative);

Data reception, decoding, validation, primary processing and real
time transmission to hydrological stations, Water Authorities, NIMH
and MWFPE, in critical cases;

Data transmission and storage in the national database from time
to time, coupled with a hydrological GIS in view of an integration
with satellite data .

Definition and specification of a system for satellite
monitoring the flooded areas - application in pilot basin Arges- transfer
of technology SCOT Conseille (see Figure).

Real time data dissemination for application of diagnosis
and hydrological estimation models to NIMH, water managers, local
and governmental staff, for protection of the urban areas, life and
material goods).
